Christopher was my cool crazy cousin that took life by the reigns. Few people can say that they have followed and embraced their true passion in life. Chris did exactly that. I’ll never forget when he visited NJ for some type of family party (one of my sibling’s high school graduation I think) and he told me he was a conductor. I remember thinking that was the coolest thing… you know, one of those professions you only hear about… and yet my own cousin was a star!!! You could see his passion in his eyes, his love for life in his smile, which could only be described as contagious. It was years later that I saw Chris next, at a cousins brunch in NYC. After being so distant for so many years I can’t believe how natural it felt to hang out with Chris. With a warm hug and yet again his dazzling smile, he made me feel as if we hadn’t skipped a beat. My last memories of him are from my sisters wedding. He brought everyone to the dance floor and we had a blast all night long. I will miss you Chris, the world will miss your smile.
