June 24-Wed early am:

I woke up to intense rain this morning.

The skies are crying.

I have wanted to write here but just couldn’t. It’s impossible to find words to express what our family is experiencing.

It’s been nearly a week since we’ve heard the news of your passing.

One week has felt like a lifetime….because we have been celebrating a very full life. And because we feel such deep sorrow and pain.

But, just as our tears are small in comparison to the power of nature’s drenching rain, the joy and love each of us received from having you in our lives is but a fraction of the joy and love you had and shared.

Thank you, Christopher, for all that you gave and for all that you were to everyone you encountered.

I love you.

Tine
