Carol Jennings

Christopher entered our lives last year when he came to Norfolk to conduct the Yorke Trust’s summer opera, The Tempest. On our journey from the station when he told me the choristers would be singing the opera choruses from memory, it didn’t seem achievable. I soon discovered that through Chris’ absolute belief in peoples’ abilities, his charm, encouragement, talent and love he could make anything happen. He led a Come and Sing Day for us in February where a group of 73 singers of varied experience and in some cases no experience, came together on one day to perform Mozart’s Requiem. The result was completely amazing. Chris was a uniquely beautiful and talented person. He touched our hearts and will never be forgotten.
