I met Zeke at Dartmouth when we were both part of the symphony orchestra there. He was a lively, fun and happy guy then. It is clear that he has been much respected, loved and appreciated since. My condolences on his passing.

Wir sind sehr traurig und werden Christopher vermissen. Die vielen schönen Stunden, die wir mit ihm in Weimar, Berlin und Heilbronn verbracht haben, werden uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben.
Zeke was so vivacious and so kind; even though I only knew him for brief moments— a few days with friends in Prague; coffee in Berlin— he was so easy to spend time with. He brought joy with him. I always hoped that we would end up in the same place at the same time…
It´s a sour cherry tree because: it´s not very demanding, it is very fruitfull, making preserves and enjoying them during winter brings joy.

I babysat for Christopher and his sister, in Dornach, Switzerland, in 1985; Christopher was a delightful, steady, poised, sweet kid.
