From day one I met Chris back in 2017, he was all about unconditional giving and help to everyone around him. He organized practice sessions for the conducting module to help those with no previous experience, asking for nothing in return. He was one of these people who spill positivity on you with the simplest of gestures. He would see a stressed out friend entering the building and insist on having them over for tea and talk it through until one left with a smile on the face. He initiated an oriental music concert we have been trying to make happen since 2019 and I cannot possibly imagine having someone else’s baton raised for that…
Anyone who has been conducted by Chris or has seen him at it knows about the beauty of his everflowing charisma, his humour that can alter any situation and these deep eyes that speak to and value every individual musician…
Christopher was meant for legendary things but taken away too soon from this world…
I am honoured to have known him, to have had my music brought magic to with his baton and will be missing our talks and laughs…
May this be a reminder to cherish every second of our lives that we sometimes take for granted, to value the people in our lives more than we do and to make the very best out of every breath we are given…
My condolences and love to his family and loved ones. May they be granted the strength and patience for this.
May his wondrous soul rest in peace…
