In the few times I saw Chris when he visited the Croydon Music and Arts centre to conduct our orchestra, I distinctly remember his advice, positive manner and sense of humour. He was an inspiring conductor, and we genuinely looked forward to seeing him in the future.

I babysat for Christopher and his sister, in Dornach, Switzerland, in 1985; Christopher was a delightful, steady, poised, sweet kid.  I am blown away that this uniquely loving, kind, gifted, creative man’s life has come to a sudden end amidst so much beautiful vitality.
