Mark Abrams, Linda Britt, and Karen Chalmer planted a Linden tree (a Venus tree) and a Norway spruce (a sun tree) at The Community Farm of Ann Arbor to honor Christopher’s life and his spirit. They were strengthened by the love being sent from afar by Moira Walsh and Esmin Britt. After the holes had been dug, the compost mixed in, and the trees settled in their new homes with blessings, they began to water them in. Just then, a gentle rain began. It grew stronger until the leaves were dancing and the watering was most thorough. Then, the rain stopped, the sun came out, and there was a rainbow pointing directly at the Linden tree.
